David L. Brittain, a Partner with MGT of America, Inc., is recognized as one of the top national experts in educational technology. He is a past President of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and a past President of the National Educational Computing Association (NECA), the organization that sponsored NECC before NECA merged with ISTE. Prior to joining MGT nine years ago, Mr. Brittain served as the head of educational technology for the Florida Department of Education. In that role he was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Florida Information Resource Network (FIRN), a statewide data communication network connecting all of Florida's public educational entities with the Department of Education. During his tenure with the Department he also played a significant role in establishing the Florida Educational Technology Conference. Since joining MGT, he has been the Director of the firm's Educational Technology Practice and also serves as Executive Director of MGT's newly formed Learning Technology Evaluation Center (LTEC).
