Dr. Henry F. Olds, Jr. serves as FreshPond Education’s Senior Analyst and most recently was Director of Sponsored Programs and Principal Investigator with the JASON Foundation for Education in Needham, MA. Prior to this position, he was Senior Software Designer with Riverdeep Interactive Learning of Cambridge, MA. In this position, he continued the work he began as Software Development Specialist for Logal Software, Inc. Henry has participated in a number of national curriculum development projects, designed and implemented several innovative staff development programs, founded two alternative schools, and has spoken and written extensively both on educational innovation and on uses of computers in education. He has taught a course at the Harvard Graduate School of Education on interactive multimedia and has served on the Program Development Committee for the Earthwatch Institute. Henry has a B.A. degree in American Literature and American Civilization from Princeton University and M.A.T (English education) and Ed.D. degrees (children's language development) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
