As I worked on finding material about David Perkins, I wondered if he ha been somewhat overshadowed by his colleague Howard Gardner. Both Perkins and gardner are "deep" thinkers, and their areas of research and writing strongly overlap. Both have been highly productive throughout their professional careers. Both have made major contributions to education and attempts to improve education.
